El Al Matmid - Will they bump us up to F?

I am flying with my wife and 6 month old baby from TLV to JFK on a full fare business class ticket next week on LY 11 which seems to be an added flight for all of the post Yom Kippur traffic. My question is as follows. Being that I am almost positive that they will use the downstairs Business Class cabin for economy passengers (for an extra $250), what will they do with us? I know from previous experience that they do not allow infants upstairs on the 747. It also seems that 1st class is practically vacant. Do you think that they would bump us up to F with an infant rather than send us upstairs?

When I see the F vacant I call LY before the flight... many times I get the F seat with C service - Just try and call them in advance.

This is not exact science - What I do is use KVS (or other similar tools) and see if F is either fully available or if it is fully booked - Both options most of the time (BUT NOT always) indicate that F is not used. There are some exceptions like routes where sometimes F is really full a lot of the times like I guess TLV-HKG or TLV-DME where it seems the entire plane is PLs or TPLs (:p)

I usually call 24-48 hours before the flight.
