Hi,

I was just wondering if it is only me (or rather my observance), but traveling with a colleague, I noticed that his Freccia Alata Plus status is not recognized by certain ST airlines, one of the most common one is KLM+Air France. It does not recognize it in any form. Aeroflot meanwhile is able to recognize this.

Any experience?

:)

I'm Freccia Alata and I never had any problem.
I do not understand what do you mean with recognition?
Is-it the recognition at the check-in? Or in the lounges?
In the first case it is caused by the fact that AFKL counters are not connected with AZ IT systems unless you friend book a codeshared flight and put his card number since reservation.
In the lounges it happen the same: AFKL lounges cannot check your status: they only see your card but usually it works fine for me.

.

Squerez, I am talking about the level above FA, FA Plus. This is the new level introduced last year to the program.

what do you mean with "non-recognised"?

afaik, fa and fa+ are both considered elite-plus by skyteam carrier, thus you should not feel any difference.

What I mean by not recognized is that on the boarding pass it is not listed as EP+ status and the gate agent also informed that the system did not seem to recognized the status though they did not understand why. This seems to be on KL/AF. Showing the card itself did not pose any problems.

Thus, I was wondering if this FA+ status if it has been loaded in all ST's system.

I have had that too, both as FA or FA+ on AF flights: the BP does not record the E+ status, which means a trip to the check-in counter to see an agent, who can force display of e+ status and reissue BP when you show the card. Useful for Fast Track.
