Virgin flying club - competitive PE fare? MCO LGW

MCO-LGW route leaving christmas night and coming back to the states january 4th. priced currently at 1550usd all taxes included RT in K class PE. Is the PE product on the LGW birds worth the price? Wasnt sure what the price range for that route is

The LGW seats have the old seats, but PE is still upstairs on the 747 which is a bit plus.

You also get the benefit of PE check-in at LGW, where economy can get a bit zoo like (albeit, most of my experience is from holiday season).

I think I'd look to see what the premium you are paying over Y is. I would guess that the outbound might be pretty quiet, so might not be worthwhile if you can spread out in Y...

flight is 870 for q class RT. 750 if i purchase codeshare on CO. I'm thinking the outbound to LGW should be light on christmas night, so I'm still debating. Maybe I'll just get PE for the outbound (308usd O/W for PE UG). Going to sit on it a little longer and watch the fares. They were at 696 All in last week and I didnt bite.
