So if you choose to not stay with them twice you will get Silver. Thats a good deal!

My exact same thought. Maybe I should contact A-Club and tell them I won't be staying with them for another -18 nights which will bring me to Gold...

Their posting of stays is horrendous. I just finished a 6 night stay in Hong Kong and they only posted my last 4 nights. Have no idea how they came up with that. This goes along well with stays earlier this year in both Sydney and Cairns not posting. Clearly they still have bugs to work out.

In all fairness, it seems like the system works in Europe (or at least at hotels in France - haven't stayed as an A-club member elsewhere) with only a few days delay in posting points on the account.

I did though notice that I didn't get the 2x (or was it 3x) as promised for bookings over the weekend that just passed (18-20 Sep).

I'm wondering if there is any point in requesting these as it really won't make any difference if I reach gold or not?

I got an email this morning about my gold card renewal, and it says

Additional points required for next status: September 25, 2010
