Welcome to FlyerTalk, john1585!
Call LY and ask them for the seats. Alternatively, go to the LY website and use the Manage My Booking tab to select your seats online. Make sure you take seats downstairs as upstairs is only 2-2.

"My wife and I are both GLs. We are traveling with our infant for whom we also bought a business class ticket. We'd like to sit together in a place where a bassinet can be placed please."

can you help with with what to say that will have a bigger impact on themjohn1585, welcome to FT.
We are all here to help, but do you really need for someone to hold your hand when you call them up?
You’re a GL, surely none of this is new to you….?
The seat map on the website will often show exit / bulkhead seats as occupied when in fact they are not.

Not everyone are trained professional frequent flyers...No of course not everyone, but the OP (and his wife) are GL's...
I think yosithezet's reply summers it up; I honestly cannot see what the problem was.

I've been waiting this whole time for someone to start talking about this in this thread. I flew BKK-TLV Wed night and after we landed I noticed a guy that was upstairs with me in the 747 walking through the terminal with what I assume was his wife and son and thought of this very topic. :D

what would be intresting to disscus is what do full paying bussiness class ticket holders think about childern or infants for that matter flying bussines as they are not the quietest passengers on the plane and if you have a infant which pay about £120 -150 and could, lets hope mine dosen't cry the whole way

Ebzed, I thought twice before posting, as I was concerned of not getting you too angry, I was very relieved to see a smile in your post

i have returned will update you all what happened after calling elal a few days before the flight and telling them to try and sort out the three seats together and call me back i got a call back the day before my flight telling me that they will not be able to give me the three seats together with a baby cot i said is there nothing you can do and so forth she said no all seats have been taken but then i stated getting a bit aggresive and i mentioned the magic world BMI for thoses not familar bmi is a very serious competion to elal on the lon-tlv routes and espically in bussines class she then said that she will look into it and call me back about 20 min later i got a phone call telling they had managed to sort out the seats together on the outbound and return flights must say it is a shame that the only way elal understands is by "screaming and threats"
the actual flight was ok more or less the food was the usall elal tiny portions i rember the goldd old days bussines class passengers where served pastries with the fruit but what can you do that what there is.
had to wait ages for my childerens buggy stroller to come off the plane a shame no priorty service for bussines class passengers with buggy
for thoses not familar bmi is a very serious competion to elal on the lon-tlv routes and espically in bussines class
Why are they more competition than BA, are they cheaper?

Actually BA's CW has become very competitive and their hard product, i.e. the seat and meal, is better than LY. Generally BA are now cheaper than LY to London in C except when compared to W to LTN but that's on a 757 and gets you Y points only.

that not what i understand from my travel agent elal have been playing catch up with bmi since the start after bmi was told that if they leave the wieght allowance at 25 kg they will not get a lot of the religous customers as elal always gives a bit extra they put the wieght at 30 kg
a couple of month later elal followed them and is giving also 30 in economy they say the bussines seats are alway flat beds while on the elal evening flights it is somtimes the 757 they also have the premium economy which is also a big pull BA has never felt the need to do anything to attract extra bussines on this route 6 weeks ago in the airport and was told by the station manager that they are finding the competion from bmi very difficult
