National - YVR hates one-ways suddenly

So it seems YVR is all but banning one-ways. First they raised the rate to $598/day just to drop a car off in Victoria, and now they've imposed a 200 km per day limit on all rates (except for some obscure car classes like Fullsize SUV). Interestingly this is the same location that has a great rate to YEG ($55/day unlimited km). I was deathly afraid this was a ERAC move to restict one-ways but I've tried a bunch of combinations and it only appears to be YVR that's terribly restrictive. Hopefully it's only temporary. My guess is they're trying to keep as many cars in the mainland as possible for the Olympics.

$598/day? Haha, that must be a new record. Sorry to hear about the new rules; hopefully it's just temporary.

Hertz recently quoted $900+ for a three day one way from YYC to YVR.
Redeeming points a good way to deal with this insanity.
