Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - Air China F-Class Award JFK-PEK

Does anybody have any experiance with booking a first class award on Air China in F? I want to book for two people JFK-PEK for travel in the spring and it would be using either ANA or USAir miles. It seems nothing is avaliable in F or C at all for today through the end of the schedule. On another thread someone mentioned premium class awards were zeroed out because of people selling miles, but there are awards in F and C to PEK from Europe. I haven't seen anything ex-USA. Any info on past success or what is going on now would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Why don't you wait until CO joins *A and try to snag some seats on the EWR-PEK flight (this should save you some miles)?

Doesn't look like they have any awards avaliable in the spring otherwise I could book it now if I transfer Amex points. Plus not sure if they will have the flat beds on EWR-PEK by then.

Have you considered NH or OZ? While they entail a stop and a mandatory overnight in NRT on the way back in the case of the former, if you were sending me to China, I'd prefer either to the CA n/s. I also like CO better than CA (flat beds or not), but my willingness to fork over miles for that award would likely depend on its price (i.e. should cost less than F).
