Looks like I will make a booking for a room in Seoul instead. DownUnderFlyer Sep 22, 09, 7:55 pm I don't think it is a dump. Just not a western style 5 star Hotel. ethelman Sep 23, 09, 6:13 am I don't think it is a dump. Just not a western style 5 star Hotel. If Hotel June, it IS a bit of a dump, IMHO. Only a bit, though. Clean, nice people, etc but in middle of nowhere and food not good. Other travelers found it OK, and it certainly "does the business" in terms of a room and bed with decent bathroom. Seoul, as you may know, is 90 mins away from ICN, and if you're late- as we were courtesy baggage strike at SYD- you might get into town very late. Then you've got to trek out again next day. Often OZ uses Royal Hotel in Seoul, which is well located; if the ar flight is late, though, they won't. BenDC Sep 29, 09, 3:12 pm OZ put me up at the Best Western Premier about a month ago. Not the greatest hotel but certainly not bad for a couple hours sleep and a shower. They did also provide a lunch voucher. One good thing about the hotel is that it had the fastest internet I have ever seen. |
