My (uneducated) guess is that their occupancy level is very low between Yom Kippur & Sukkoth holidays so decided to shut down the property on those dates...

Assuiming you are right -- and it makes sense

Can they do they do that -- take payment and book a room and then say we are shifting you to another hotel --

Forget about the starwood plat and human decency re making a commitment -- same as I make when I prepay and dont show up that I am charged --

what about their OBLIGATIONS -- these are rooms with a kitchenette -- does the other hotel have them

this isnt proff of anything when *W Booted out Boymelgreen and his 4 owned Hotels last June, anyone was still able to make a future res on spg.com

BTW Fattal the owner of this LeM ended up buying those 4 Hotels and wanted no part of *W. If anything they also own the Golden Tulip in Tiberias and told *W what they can do with themselves when *W approached Fattal about taking the reses that were made at the Tiberias Plaza including the Free Stays that *W would have paid Golden Tulip for much as they are paying The Mamilla in Jerusalem.

I dont believe Cork knew that Fattal owned the Gulip Tulip in Tiberias. So I think the *W Hotels that Fattal still owns probably have very limited time left as *W Hotels
