Can FF help with suggestions about Trans Pacific Buisness class to MAA in winter 09?.
I was thinking of ORD/DTW/SFO to HKG/SIN with onward connection to MAA. with a stop over onward @ SIN and on return @HKG.[Interested in good deals]I want to be buisness class for long haul and don't mind economy for short haul as i am paying.

CX is the shortest transpac route. Gets you in several hours earlier than SQ / MH / TG. But CX isnt a daily flight - its 3 or 4 times a week to MAA, so plan accordingly.
SQ is going to be your best and most comfortable J trip, and the incremental cost of west coast to an asian hub, and west coast to MAA isnt going to be too much, you could fly J all the way. You can also try MH - but I wouldnt recommend TG right now, some of the red shirt vs yellow shirt political instability seems to have started up again.
In fact you could just fly trans atlantic - LH from DTW, 9W from EWR etc all one stop in Europe, into MAA.

Your best bet will be LH, AI, BA: ORD-EUROPE-MAA.
