but let imagine that there's only one person in C on the plane - he'll get lunch and a snack before landing for ZRH-DXB - or will be sleeping for DXB-ZRH...

ZRH to DXB -
There is a lunch after takeoff and then a movie snack (may only be in F and J) prior to landing. The movie snack is a small ice cream... not really a meal or snack by any means.

so no meal on the return flight ?

in F a light meal (starter, soup, small main, cheese, "bouchée"-like dessert) followed by a hot breakfast. Not sure about the offerings in C or Y.
