Nearly two weeks time? Why do I still have not received? in Canada

The e-mail you got when you redeemed said (and I quote from my e-mail) "Your order is being processed and you will receive your A|Club rewards gift voucher(s) within 2 - 3 weeks."

I assume the 2-3 weeks bit is a template which applies to French members so I'd add at least another week for Canada.

I signed up on September 6 and got the vouchers on September 14. I'm on East Coast US and, yes, the vouchers are sent from France.

my friends and family members received it 10 days after signup... I still havent received the ones i ordered a month ago though (normal points earning...)

Not all vouchers are send form France. Australia for example posts them locally.

Having said this, it is 6 weeks now and I still don't have them. The stays I wanted to use them for have long been completed. :td:

My mother got hers yesterday and I got mine today.

Ordered on Sept 12, Postmarked Sept 18, Recieved Sept 22 in the USA.

However, I ordered another one to the same address on the 12th and nothing yet.

Mine are valid until Sept 30, 2010.

The only restrictions are that the vouchers are not valid on weekday nights (Mon-Tues) in Ibis hotels in France.

They are valid for 12 months from the month of issue. If you can't use them by next September, then don't order them yet - although you run the risk that, when they go to evouchers in January, they will stop being transferable.

I am ordering to Australia too and getting this screen when I put the order through but no confirmation email. So others get an instant email and only Aus-Pac don't?

I have redeemed in the past for points earned from hotel stays (Australia) and received an email a day later (?) informing me of the redemption and the account debited.

Not sure what's going on, peraps a backlog? Or perhaps they are suspending it pending a review of the orders/accounts.

one question, i understand prepaid rates are not valid with these (FLEX-), unrestricted rates (FLEX+) are certainly valid... but what about FLEX fares ("Promotion - can be changed or cancelled; depending on conditions" for example)

just to partially answer my own question... i checked the payment pages for these different rates:
FLEX- you are prepaying the whole amount
FLEX+ you are giving you CC info to guarantee the booking
FLEX you are paying only one night deposit (which you loose if you cancel less than 3 days in advance)

so it looks like that if you show up with a prepaid night on a FLEX rate, you will have to be charged the other nights at checkout (or will they still charge ALL the nights, and the first night deposit will just be a preauthorization ?) and you can apply the coupons to pay for it...

well, i cant say for sure.. but if you think about it.. this is NOT a prepaid rate... you have only prepaid the first night (one night deposit they call it)... so whatever balance you have left, i would ASSUME you can settle by the vouchers..

we better confirm that with them...

My first night is not prepaid. I have up to 3 days prior to arrival to cancel, with no charge.

At what point should I start getting worried? I ordered 4 vouchers to Australia (based on family of 4). Only one has had the points deducted and an email confirmation sent. 3 haven't been touched at all.

I ordered a few more to family and friends in the USA's addresses, these were deducted right away and confirmation emails sent.

I need 6 of them before 2nd week of Nov latest for the Sofitel Tahiti, the others can wait until next year's trip to Spain and Morocco. I will have 14 all up, that's all I was able to do before they cancelled the birthday promo 2 days early. I was a bit late to the party.

I got one! I ordered it around 26 Sep, got an email (Aussie address) on 29 Sep and voucher posted from France 2 Oct and arrived here today which is 7 Oct USA time, 8 Oct for us.

Still 3 x Aussie bound vouchers to go-not processed yet and some going to USA friends and family.

i create and order my vouchers 2 days before the promotion ends.. didnt get any email confirmation or points deducted. Im located in south east asia

but notice at the time of redemption page.
