So I am looking at flying to Paris next year and was wondering how the Affaires class is on Air France. I have never flown AF before and have heard mixed reviews. My choice is either fly direct with AF in Affaires for 100K miles (Delta) or fly Delta business via ATL for 70K miles so AF definitely looks like a winner.
Anyone else have done this route before? Is the 330-200 good, how slanted are the seats or are they pretty much flat?

I've flown this route 3 times in the last 2 years. Its a very nice soft product. The meals are fine, and the service is perfectly acceptable in Affaires. The flight attendants are so nice to me each time. The bed when fully extended is not unlike the Delta BusinessElite product. I like the IFE on AF, too. I don't think it matters to most frequent travelers, but I think the AF onboard Duty-Free provides good value for money and has a nice selection.
Go with AF if you can! I've used Alaska miles to book my tickets. Does DL charge more miles just because its Air France redemption?

I flew this route in august in biz and had an excellent service both ways. A340 westbound and A332 eastbound. I really love the A332. Avoid seat 1K as the curvature of the fuselage makes the space slightlt smaller. On the A332, the best seats IMO are 2A/2B.
So, definitely a good choice compared to connecting in ATL
Enjoy !

Thanks to both. Flying AF now.
I think DL was charging more (AS is charging 90K miles for the same itinerary on AF) because of the ATL route. Unfortunately it turns a 10 hour flight into a 16 hour flight.
