Virgin flying club - Newbie Q's

I'm starting to fly the LHR-HKG route on a more serious basis and I had a couple of questions regarding the Virgin Flying Club. Maybe someone here can be of assistance.

1. Is there any way other than logging in to the Virgin site that I could view Award availability (e.g KVS, Expert Flyer)?

2. Can I use my Virgin miles to book a flight for a friend?

3. Does Virgin offer the possibility of using miles to fly on any other Partner Airline other than SQ?

1. Yes, call Flying Club directly

3. the full partner lists are on Virgin website, including about 10 airlines

1. You can also do a dummy booking using miles on the VS website which will indicate whether the seats you want are available. If they aren't it gives a 30 day calendar showing when seats are available. This is sometime preferable to ringing. If you don't have access to the Premier Team, phone calls to VS can apparently sometimes be a lengthy, frustrating experience.
