Starwood Preferred Guest - SFO October 23 to 25, what's going on?

Hi,

Why are all the *wood properties fully booked during that weekend? I'm looking for a hotel, but everything is booked!

What about going to the Sheraton at Bay Bridge? How inconvenient is that in regards of going to the city center and/or airport without a car?

There is a big Opthamology convention in SF that weekend.

When downtown San Francisco is fully booked I usually stay at The Kabuki Hotel (formerly The Miyako Hotel, it has been refurbished and renamed). It is located in Japantown, just a short cab or bus from downtown.
