The Caribbean - Never been to SKB...

...but I've been almost everywhere else in the Caribbean. I may even manage a quick trip over to NEV for an afternoon. I'm wondering if johannesj or someone else could provide a restaurant recommendation for an upcoming two-night business trip. TIA!

Great to hear that you are visiting SKB. Too bad I am no longer based there to show you around this lovely island.

Hopefully i can do the next best thing and make some good recommendations:

Marshalls at Horizons
The Beach House - South East Penninsula
Spice Mill - South East Penninsula
Rock Lobster
Shiggidy Shack

All of these are in the Frigate Bay/South East Penninsula and in close proximity to the Marriott. I deliberately did not recommend any of the Marriott's restaurants because I am of the opinion that you want to get out and about, but the hotel restaurants are also very good.

My final recommendation is my favourite place on the island. The serve the best grilled lobster, fish, chicken and ribs and are right on teh water in a small fishing village - Sprat Net. Do make time to visit.

IIRC,the Palm Restaurant at Ottleys Plantation Inn was/is very good.
Stayed there 5 years ago and found everything about the place outstanding.^

My friends and I are visiting SKB in a few weeks. Is this restuarant near Frigate Bay too?

Sprat Net is actually in a fishing village called Old Road - some 15 to 20 minutes away from Frigate Bay but it is well worth the drive out there on a Friday night.
