When you search Asiana Hong Kong in google, google will pop a warning message saying there are malware in the site and avoid entering.

It has been down for a month! Amazingly their IT guys haven't gotten it working again..

This means, no reservations online if anyone wants to fly out of Hong Kong with Asiana. :o

I wonder...

This has been discussed here many times before (last time mentioned here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/asiana-club/992443-booking-asiana-tix-hong-kong.html). The HKG site is not hacked, it just re-directs to the East Asia Page.

And you are correct, you can not book ex HKG tickets online from any Asiana site.

I would be delighted if anyone could tell me how to use the asiana website to look at schedules HKG-ICN, let alone buyt tickets ex-HKG. No way I can input HKG as origin or destination (even from Korea region). Because HKG does not belong to a region, no way to list the flights. Am I missing something as it used to be possible.

I get the strange point about having to go through a TA in Hong Kong (which I find an antique proposition, especially given what they charge for credit cards and that I like to do my bookings over the weekend). But still I should be able to get some info from the asiana website on planes and so on.

You cannot even see ex HKG on the site. You need to ring OZ or use TA.

going through TA is better, they can search for fares that OZ may not offer you if you call them

Yes. Best to call a TA. OZ have said they can only offer full fares if you book through them directly in HK.

I apologize for asking related questions, but:
1) can you find ICN-HKG schedules on OZ website?
2) can you buy ICN-HKG return ticket there?

Thank you. I now see that they have added Hong Kong to the China region as an arrival point (not as a departure point). I must have missed it, many thanks.

BTW I notice now that www.zuji.com.hk allows you to book OZ flights from HKG to ICN. However, they are full fare tix (i.e. econ is around HK$8,000).
