I'm probably going to Seoul in a few months.

Haven't decided flights yet, but either way will get in at either 3am or 5am.

This being quite early, what are the options for me getting into central Seoul at that time in morning? Will public transport be running?

Thanks

looks liek there are late night buses running from ICN -> Seoul.

I'd check with your hotel to be sure.

I was on the 4am arrival from JFK a couple weeks ago. I went through transit (I did have a connecting BP) and took a shower in the lounge before heading into town so it was closer to 6am when I was ready to leave the airport. At that time the train/subway via GMP was running and I took it. It was cheap and quick. I believe it starts just after 5am.

thanks both for your help.

I guess I should try and get the flight that gets in at 5am and by the time I clear customs and immigration public transport will have started running.

This does not make sense. Once you go through transit, and reach the airside where lounges are, you cannot come back to the landside unless you are escorted by a staff under unexpected circumstance.
