Does anyone have a review of the equipment, service etc on this rtn route?

Is the First redemption worth it? or should I stick to business?

If you have never been on LX F - give it a go. You won't regret it. F is much nicer than C. And service in F is top notch.

It is really worth it to go FIRST especially if the plane operated is the A 333, which is serving ORD now. AMAZING experience ^

Does anyone have a review of the equipment, service etc on this rtn route?With LX, this is all non-route specific, i.e. any North America flight will receive identical catering (i.e. look at any transatlantic review to get an idea). As for the equipment, verify which plane is operating the flights on your desired dates of travel (ORD could be anything between A340, A332, A333) and then go to the seating thread for details on that plane type's cabin.

It's fantastic even with the old seats. In fact, there isn't really a lot wrong with the old seats at all, except a slightly awkward headrest if you're quite tall, and the old-ish IFE system.

Everything else is absolutely First Class. I enjoyed my ZRH-LAX F flight more than any SQ F flight I've taken before.

The other day I was flying DXB to ORD via ZRH and the plane was scheduled to be A333 and I bought a first class ticket especially to try the new LX First suite. However, when I boarded the plane I was surprised to find the plane switched to A 340.

I think during the month of OCTOBER we will see more substitution of aircrafts on ORD route as more cities being served with the A 333.
