Hi
I am travelling with my 3 year old twins and 5 month old baby of a flight to Dubai in december (economy) - i've requested a bassinet seat for the baby but this cannot be confirmed until check-in - does anyone know if i can use on-line check in for bassinet seat positions as i really really need to do what i can to secure that bassinet for the baby (i need both hands free to deal with the twins!!!!) but it would be a lot easier not having to turn up to the airport hours in advance of the flight as that would be a recipe for over-excited children and all-round exhaustion before we even board the plane!!!
Thanks

No, those seats are not pre-bookable through the Internet.

But, a big BUT, Virgin agent should be able to confirm that on the phone.

Thanks for that MP. In that case, would i be better off ignoring online check-in altogether and just turning up at the airport as early as I can to hopefully secure the bassinet position (though realistically i cannot be there any earlier than about 2 hours pre-departure), or would i be better off checking in on-line to ensure that I at least get seats together for us all somewhere on the plane (obviously not the bassinet position if these aren't allowed to be booked this way) and then try and change these to the bassinet position ones once we arrive at the airport?
