Avis - Renting @ SFO

Hi,
I'm going to San Francisco at the end of the month and I'd like to know which car class should I book to have better changes to get a VW Jetta or Subaru Impreza. I'm Avis preferred customer.

I have never seen an Impreza on the Avis lots. I've seen Outbacks every now and again, but not the Impreza. I was in SFO last week and didn't see any Jettas, either. The Jetta is an intermediate, though, so if you reserve that size, you should be able to get one if they have any.

The fleet list is a big sticky at the top of the forum. No need to post this question.

Thanks for the information. I saw the list but most of the cars are GMs and I don't like them. I'll try to check which other models I see at SFO to update the post #1.

Order well in advance. Availability in SFO has been *very* limited lately. Not sure what is going on. I've had reservations and no cars much more frequently lately. This weekend I can't even find a car!

Thanks all. I rented an intermediate car and I got a nissan Altima hybrid (especialty). Lucky I guess.

By the way, there were a bunch of jettas in the parking lot at SFO. }
