For fans of CSI, you might want to check out this new MGM Grand attraction (http://www.lvrj.com/news/59169182.html)!
Sounds kind of fun, and should you ever be here with a group - it is an activity that you can do together, can kill some time (pun intended) and probably cheaper than sitting at a slot machine for 60-90 minutes!

COOOLLLL!!!!!! I think we will have to try this when we are in Vegas this coming weekend!!
Even though I am a local (duh), if you go - report back and let us know how you liked it! I intend to get there at some point, but it is always interesting to get reports from those who bravely go forth as guinea pigs for us all.
The concept is pretty interesting - sort of like those "murder mystery" dinner theater shows, without the dinner and hokey fake detectives.
BTW, FYI about CSI; I briefly worked as a temp for a law firm here in Las Vegas with a woman who told me a story.
She used to work for the local newspaper with another guy, and they both worked the "crime" section. They would contact the police, get the reports and determine what was news-worthy. One day, her co-worker said, "We should put these stories together and do a TV series!"
She was in a bad mood that day and said, "That is a stupid idea." (She said it in more colorful language, inappropriate for this forum.)
Three guesses what her co-worker went off and did - and yep, he is the creator of the CSI television series and is earning millions. She was one very bitter temp who still woefully regrets her snippy answer.

My sister is pretty dead set on going so we will attempt it and if we end up getting in -- I think the opening frenzy may be significant -- I will certainly post back here.
