Virgin flying club - U/C Checkin LHR. Looking for advice

Flying U/C first time tomorrow LHR - JFK. I have printed my boarding pass and will be traveling without luggage. I will not be arriving via the Virgin limo.

My questions are:

1. Do I still have to "check-in"at the VS U/C desk at T3

2. Or to can I can go straight to security and through to the Lounge?

3. Can I still use the VS only security channel or is that restricted to those using the limo service?

4. If yes, how do I access the channel from the T3 check in desks?

You should be able to go straight to the VS security channel.

To the right of the check-in desks is a lift, scan the barcode on your ticket and this will let you in, and up you go to the security channel.

The lift to the right of check-in is a general purpose one, but labelled for Upper Class only, and disabled people, iirc. You don't scan your BP there. You go up in the lift, turn left (I think) and there's a door with a scanner on the wall. Scan your BP and the door should open.

Other tips - pre book a treatment if you fancy one. Arrive early and enjoy the clubhouse & pack your swimming cossie if you fancy a dip in the pool.
