Delta generally offers status match, although not sure how that will work with you being based in the Netherlands - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milesbuzz/883029-new-airline-status-match-master-thread.html

Both DL and NW are actively matching CO status right now. No need to wait until October 25th.

Skyteam is currently running print ads with Continental removed - NWA is also gone, too, of course.

Its about time. All of CO's new aircraft deliveries this year have been without the ST logo on them. And DL has a huge spread in their in-flight magazine that doesn't mention CO as a partner.
That being said, they are a partner/member for 4 more weeks.
