I need a 2 suite type hotel room for a couple nights this month as was wondering which of the Embassy Suites or The homewood SUites property is nicer

The Embassy is nicer either one - I perfer the downtown one to the one by the water

Why the preference between the two? It would be good to know as I have clients asking about the differences occasionally.

If you are looking for a suite, not free food, then I recommend the Hilton Suites.

Hilton Suites are good - Embassy on State Street is wonderful - afraid I don't rate the Lakefront one on Columbus at all - stayed couple of times and bad experiences both times

Hilton Suites are very good- no extra perks as a Diamond but that may have been just my experience.The Diamond floor was good but not spectacular. I think I was eligible for a free coffee and light meal (muffin) in the a.m but was traveling early a.m so it wasn't important to me (Not missing flight out of Ohare for a muffin).
I like the Doubletree Wit hotel for getting out for night life on the roof top bar for those of us who do not really party but like the experience every now and again. For those who are packing 3 or more in a room the Hilton Suites may be the way to go.
