Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns (Pre-Alignment) - New destination tba Friday 9/11View Full Version : New destination tba Friday 9/11 n7371f Sep 10, 09, 2:19 pm On facebook, Frontier says it'll announce a new destination Friday. Any guesses? azstar Sep 10, 09, 4:00 pm I'd say Little Rock using a Q400 yanked from El Paso or Grand Junction. GreatChecko Sep 10, 09, 10:32 pm I'd say Little Rock using a Q400 yanked from El Paso or Grand Junction. I hope not... Plus those planes are going to ABQ, OMA, and SLC for the time being. Now, I hear that new Q400 isn't exactly being used, so it may be a new Q400 destination, however, I don't think it would be somewhere as far away as LIT, especially when the E170/190's are sure to make a comeback in the next few months. As for the two new Mexico routes, it WILL be IND-CUN and STL-CUN. The routes were approved by the DOT earlier this week. According to the filing they start December 19th. Checko cwe84 Sep 11, 09, 6:49 am Its the approved service to CUN from STL and IND... It was approved and the objection period was bypassed... No Domestic routes being annouced yet... GreatChecko Sep 11, 09, 3:17 pm Oddly, it was only announced on Facebook, but the "new" route is DEN-RSW. Also, I can't seem to find anything on the website. CMK10 Sep 11, 09, 4:10 pm Blah I was going to vote for RDU. There's a DEN-RDU hole now that UA dropped the route. Mudhen Sep 18, 09, 10:54 am Their website is now advertising flights for Ft. Myers. Is that the new destination or did I miss it along the way? GreatChecko Sep 18, 09, 1:41 pm RSW = Southwest Florida Regional, which is just outside of Fort Myer, FL.
