Next month my aunt and I will be driving from Montery down to Solvang, stopping off a few nights in both Cambria and Pismo Beach. I'm looking for recommendations for a day spa along the way. I'm not looking for something high-end, but would like a nice place to treat my aunt for her birthday.
Can anyone help me out?

You might try Sycamore Springs Resort (http://www.sycamoresprings.com/) between SLO and Avila Beach.

I've been here many times but never for spa services. I just come here for the comfort food that reminds me of Cracker Barrel of which I miss so much since I moved to California:

Ah, yes. I grew up 30 minutes north of there (in Paso Robles) and had many a meal at the Apple Farm. Don't miss the homemade ice cream made in a water wheel-powered ice cream maker out back!
I wasn't aware they were a spa, however, and I'm not familiar with spas in the area. I just sent an email to a family member (who occasionally treats herself to day spa treatments) who still resides there and will post back with an answer if I receive one.

Here's the response from my family member:
I have heard that Sycamore Mineral Springs by Avila Beach is nice. In Paso, we have the River Oaks Hot Springs. I have not been to either one, but my friends have and they have had good experiences at both places.
