Has anyone done this transfer? I have a Continental reward ticket. I have a 1h 10m connection time. Best route?
I believe that AF does not issue seat assignments on line for reward tixs so what is the process for checking in at the last moment for AF with this tight connection?
Thanks

After valuable input from the Continental board I called AF and VS. The 1hr 10m is illegal, its 1hr 30m for this transfer. So why did Co.com give it as the only option?
I called Co and it turns out there is another set of AF flights available that day with a 3hr London transit and a 3hr CDG transit (also longer than the previous one which was also very close to the minimum). So now I am ok.
Interestingly for the return, Co.com did give three potential combinations of AF flights connecting to the same VS with 1hr, 2hr or 3hr transit in CDG, and 3hr, 2hr, 1hr transit times in LHR. Why weren't the same options there for the outward flight?
(also found that with BF you CAN get seat assignments with AF now, but not with economy)
Thanks

I wonder whether this is CO treating the transfer as similar to a US CO-CO transfer ... if they do it's their big mistake and you now know better. Asking the CO forum may give a better answer.
Good to see you're sorted however and can fly less stressfully!
