I needed to cancel two reservations (one award and one paid) and reserve another room. In calls of a similar nature with most any other service provider (airlines, other hotels, Qwest, Direct TV, etc.) the above types of changes would require a lengthy call to accomplish. I just did all of that in less than 3 minutes. The agent knew her stuff, was friendly and the emails confirming everything arrived by the time I was off the phone.
THAT's how you do it HILTON. Nice work!

Did you get the agent's name so that the rest of us could try request this wondrous person when we call in search of assitance?

If the Diamond Desk were a person it would be diagnosed as either schizophrenic or bi-polar, maybe both. Sometimes it is really good, sometimes really bad.

I've dealt with the DD on a least a half-dozen occasions, and have yet to be disappointed. Always good service, sometimes extraordinary.

I agree and disagree, the DD if you get them is great the issue is the phones roll over when they are busy or are closed. Not sure if Hilton has changed the hours so it is no longer 24/7 or not.

I have called the DD several times, usually during normal business hours during the week, and have had excellent results.
was trying to book a room at one of the hotels on time square for new year's eve....the hotel was showing no availability but the diamond desk was not only able to book a room for me but they were able to get me a reward reservation....i love this feature....

That's great to hear. Last time I did a diamond force, the first agent was totally clueless and told me she couldn't do it because the hotel didn't have any standard rooms available. I tried to point out that I could have booked the room myself if the hotel indeed had standards rooms available. Took another call with a properly trained agent. Not the first time that the DD wasn't all that helpful.
