All Nippon Airways Mileage Club - Security check prior to boarding at NRT

I flew NH201 to LHR yesterday and something unusual happened at Gate 55. Preparing to board my flight I handed over my boarding pass and passport but instead of being allowed to proceed onto the airbridge I was directed over to the gate counter and had my travel documents checked again. I peered over the counter and saw a note, in English. I only glimpsed part of the note and reading upside down I saw this: "wearing blue jeans and brown top." This was exactly what I was wearing. Nothing was said to me and my documents were handed back to me after a minute and I was then allowed to board the flight.

Any ideas what happened? Why would I be checked prior to boarding my flight and my description noted? I was in transit having arrived from SIN at 07:25 the same morning on NH902. I obtained my boarding pass soon after arrival at the transit desk in T1.

No priority Fast Track arrival invitations were given to pax in business class and the line for non UK/EU passport holders was massive as usual. I was thankful the UK/EU line was very short but wondered why business class pax weren't offered Fast Track invitations.
