im booked in F ist-hkg on 10/21, any idea if F will still be there?
Oh it will be there, you just have about a 67% chance that they'll swap the aircraft to something else.

"...aiming to reach every destination in the world..."

Well if TK keep them for the full term of the dry lease, there's another 22 months of F, on some route or another, to go.

That's what I'm counting on...I've got a couple of TK F flights booked for next summer.
I'm currently considering switching my confirmed LX F seats from BKK to ZRH next month to TK F BKK-IST. However, after reading thru the TK forum about 77W swaps I'm not sure it's a risk I want to take. I'd be quite pissed if I ended up in Business instead of a F suite on TK when I know for sure I will get F on LX.

If the quote in the link is correct, apparently their CEO is not aware that Vilnius is in Lithuania, not Latvia.

Indeed!
The problem for me is, TK never managed to get it's F service up to par. Yes, they have nice aircrafts and the ground services were more than excellent, but what they did with the FAs really pissed me off. They just switched some J class FAs to First Class who lacked the confidence (which in my opinion is the most important thing in F class FAs) to serve F passengers. Oh well, they were losing money on it anyway.

I flew ZRH-BKK in F with LX and BKK-IST in F with TK in July this year. Got to say that Swiss will be a much better experience over all! Great food, service, seat, lounge etc. TK on the other hand was business class with a very nice seat IMO! If seat is all that matters then go TK otherwise I strongly advise you stick with LX!!
