About a week ago, I decided that I needed to go to Japan to see clients, so I wanted to take advantage of ANA's promotion of reduced mileage for upgrade promotion. Basically its half the mileage you would normally need to upgrade. I'm pretty sure that I asked the agent if I would be able to apply for the promotion upgrade if my return flight was in October, as long as I boarded by September. The agent confirmed this. Now, maybe they misunderstood my question, I don't know.

I was told by another agent (after purchasing the ticket) that I couldn't use the promotion on the return flight. I told them that I wanted to be able to upgrade to business using the promotion (if business is available at the time)

ANA says they can't find a record of my call. I gave them the time and date that I called, but I can't remember the agent that I spoke to. I called ANA using SKYPE, so I do have a record of the call. But they said they can't find the call. I think they are lying, or just don't want to resolve the issue. I'm thinking either that, or when I call using SKYPE, a totally different number shows up in their records, I don't know.

Any tips on how I can fight back and have them at least acknowledge that I made calls during that time?
