Not much advertised but in conjunction with hotels.com sale through Sep9 (http://www.hotels.com/promotion.jsp?id=36568&tab=deals&al=h#cityLinkS). The best part is that t&c state: "there is no forfeiture amount if you cancel before 4pm before day of arrival", even though it also says: "$99 Sale. September 9 Day Sale at $99. Fully Pre-Paid and non-refundable.. "

hell of a deal. How do you find what days this is available without searching each day?

Couldn't interested parties use the BRG and get the rate w/ 2,000 SPG points?

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say here. If you're trying to say that all third-party prepaid rates or rates that require deposits are ineligible for a BRG claim, that is not necessarily the case.
