Airlines of India - SIN-MAA-TRV Should I book 9W or AI ?

Here is my dilemma. I want to book a R/T ticket to TRV in business class. 9W does not have business class from MAA to TRV, only Jet Konnect flight. AI connecting with IC will give me business class all the way. But, reviews are not good for AI or IC. Has anyone flown both carriers SIN-MAA in J to give me an opinion. Prices are the same for both airlines.

SQ (MI) has nonstops. Have you checked them?
