Asia - cheap flights from PEK, PVG or HKG to Taipei

I can get some good deal on SU to get to those destinations, but unfortunately nothing to Taipeh. I know there are 200 USD fares even from BKK to TPE, but all direct flights from CHina or Honkkong seem to be over 400 USD... Any hints? WOuld stay 5 or 6 days in TPE in November. Thai seems to offer a 200 USD ticket but it says only bookable in connection with an international ticket... How do I do that? Or will they not care?

try China airlines, just checked on their website, cheapest fare out of HKG is 1272 HKD tax in, which would amount to less than 200USD.purchase online, that's usually a tad cheaper than going thruough any agent.

Forget about the direct flights from Mainland China, they are still pretty expensive at the moment.

HKG-TPE-HKG on DragonAir or China Airlines will definitely be cheaper than USD400. If you want to go BKK-TPE try China Airlines, Eva Air or Thai.
