Quick one: Can the $25 certs be combined for a $100 equivalent?
Also, it says alcohol is not included. Does this mean they will provide a separate bill for food (covered by the cert) and alcohol (has to be paid)?
Thanks!

Yes, in my experience the last five or six years the certificates can be combined for one dinner if you choose, you will also get USD value if using at a Canadian hotel as well.
Planning to use my at the Fairmont Mayakoba this fall.

You can use them all at once, also the same applies if you use them at the spa.
I don't remember paying getting two different bills but my food total alone was over $100.

Interesting to hear about the USD issue. Too bad our dollar is strong now! :(

Group them together as you wish. Also, I never present them prior to ordering as indicated on the back of the certificate. As for alcohol, I have never had a problem ordering wine with dinner etc. I think they simply are trying to avoid you using them at the bar to order drinks only.
Enjoy Mayakoba - if you haven't already use a suite upgrade for the stay. Well worth it to stay in a casita suite.

Have definitely used a suite upgrade to secure a Signature Casita Suite, looks amazing from the pictures. Very much looking forward to the adult trip with accommodations split between the JW in Cancun and the Fairmont Mayakoba.

I've been able to use the certs together. as long as the bill is well above $100, you should get no push back at all. Especially in this day and age where hotels are being very accomodating

One more thing about the dining certs. Watch your bill after they applied the credit.
When I tried to use them in two Canadian properties (Banff and Lake Louise), the waiter just credited me in CAD. I had to remind them the certs are in USD so they would give me a (slightly) bigger credit.
