Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - How to book 50% off Business Companion fare?

I'm tempted to try out TK's business class. Hopefully on a 77W. The J fare on their website seems pretty good at the moment. Especially as their economy fares are sky high. I'm planning to travel with a friend, so I hope to take advantage of the 50% off for a companion in business. I have TK Elite status. Does anyone know the correct procedure? Should I contact TK or a travel agent and buy the tickets at the same time? Does the J fare qualify as a full priced business ticket? Obviously I want to take advantage of the well priced J ticket available at the moment.

I think you should call the TK sales office. I wouldn't deal with a travel agent when it comes to securing the 50% off deal.

If you search via http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/ you should be able to get the fare construct and ask your travel agent to book this.

Thats a special offer and only TK offices can issue a ticket. Also it has a different booking class, so do not think you will be offered half of the best price for your friend. But it will be cheper than 2 full tickets anyway.

no, they have specific companion fares. if you have their top level status, then you get it on any fare i think (not 100%)

CAI-HKG there is a companion fare in J (EGP 8500 / 4250 ++) on TK, so call them or a TA.....
