hi,

in the LANPASS program you get two kinds of bonus:

class of service bonus (travelling in business class or premium economy)
elite bonus (being premium, premium silver or commodoro)

how is the total bonus calculated when you are eligible to receive both.

simple scenario: EZE-GRU in premium business:

which calculation is correct?

(1721 distance km + 430 km cos bonus) * 2 (100% elite bonus) = 4302km
1721 distance km * 2 (100% elite bonus) + 430km cos bonus = 3872km

thanks in advance

It should be same as in other airlines like United.

Your elite status bonus will be based on your base mileage / kilometers (ex. you flew 1000 km, you will get additional 1000 km for your status if you are comodoro).

Then you will get additional mileage / kilometers for class of service, which is also based on your base mileage / kilometers.

if you flew 1000 km on business class fare eligible for COS, then you will get additional 250 km.

So, being elite + flying in eligible business class fare, you will get 1000km base km + 1000km elite status km, and 250km for COS bonus.

a total of 1250km in bonus.
