I was given a Travelocity Incentive Gift Card as a result of a bank deposit promotion. The program was advertised as $500 that could be applied against hotel costs arranged by Travelocity. When I tried to use the gift card, I learned that the list of hotels is heavily restricted and consisted of limited properties on unpopular dates - all at rates that were well above those that could be found on other websites, including Travelocity's main website.
Beware of this promotion. It is misleading, extremely limited and does not apply to the entire hotel list that Travelocity typically applies.
