Maybe someone is interested in an Air Tran upgrade into C class.
http://www.airtran.com/sunshine/ You need 4 oneway segments for one oneway upgrade.
BOS-BWI can be reduced from 39USD to 14USD per segment. It is 56USD for an upgrade.
Normally a long range upgrade (e.g. ATL-LAX) costs 99USD.
Hi Danny2908,
Welcome to FlyerTalk! ^
Please read this outline of how Mileage Run Deals works; you will notice that Mileage Run Deals is for fares which earn a lot of status qualification miles on airlines in an alliance (or just a lot more ordinary miles), usually at a cost of less than 3c per status-qualifying mile:
Sticky: Welcome to the Mileage Run Forum - Important information how the MR forums work (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mileage-run-deals/454485-welcome-mileage-run-forum-important-information-how-mr-forums-work.html)
In this case, your 'deal' doesn't mention the earning of status miles at all, only sale fare 'deals'. For good deals, which are not Mileage Run Deals, please post in the Budget Travel forum. For AirTran deals, check the AirTran forum first, before posting it there, just in case it's already being discussed.

AirTran's program is segment based, so picking up cheap segments is the name of the game. Sounds like a good way to get upgrade/free tix.
Although I'm surprised that the promo would work for BOS-BWI...

Why would you buy it when you can get it for free from AirTran's website? This does work BOS-BWI.

I have picked up some nice cheap segments for ATL-CLT and ATL-CHS. I am taking a few day trips for $115 each. Who knows if its really worth it in the end, but it should be fun!
Remember that AirTran also has a promo for double credits on the BOS-BWI route. So, just one roundtrip (or two one ways, using the $25 florida codes) gets you an upgrade for your next flight!:)
