Anyone know if you can book this type of one-way award on Midwest's partner airlines, such as NW or F9?
Yes - you can use MM to book a one-way on F9, for 15,000 mi, on any available flight within the contiguous US. It must be booked by phone with the MM Service Center (800-314-7125). If you call during the weekend, holidays, or other than normal daytime business hours, any rez agent should be able to help you. The class of service will be F9's Economy, which means that you will pay for checked bags, Direct TV, etc.
If booked with fewer than seven days notice, there will be an expediting fee; I believe it's $75, which is the same as when booking an award on YX flights.
Unlike Midwest, there are blackout dates around the holidays.
