Air New Zealand Air Points - UA to NZ in SYD
I think I had read this in another post, but upon searching I can't find the answer this morning.
We will be arriving in SYD on UA and then continuing on to AKL on NZ. I am *G. I believe even if UA issues us NZ boarding passes, we will still have to pick up new ones from NZ in SYD. IAD-LAX-SYD-AKL all on one PNR.
Is it possible to do this at the Koru Club?

Yes and yes (except it is an international lounge, koru club is the name of the domestic lounges of Air NZ).
thanks again, Kiwi Flyer.

Is this something new? I know in the past we had to go to the transfer desk to get our onward boarding passes to NZ.

I also have been sent to the transfer desk for the new boarding pass although have wondered why it couldn't be issued in the Lounge. But it's no biggie as the transfer desk is about two minutes' walk away.

Allow some time as the queue at the transfer desk moves very slowly, everyone is asked when/how they intend to leave NZ and must provide ticket numbers etc.
And no, you can no longer do this in the Koru Club, grrrr, enhanced away.

I asked a similar question in MEL. I had lost my boarding pass between getting off SQ227 and arriving in the lounge (SIN-MEL-AKL), and they couldn't reprint it there either. Apparently they've removed the BP printers from the lounges because it costs USD$50K p.a. to have one connected, and they don't get enough use to justify it.
The lounge agent wandered away to one of the gates to reprint my boarding pass after letting me in.

It's been a year or two since I last had to do this. Thanks for the update.

Which part? I can certainly believe the cost part of it, but the lack of use surprised me.

Agree, lack of use seems ridiculous too.
