On the KAL website, there is a page showing "Flight Schedule with New Aircraft" for various routes. Question with regards to that does KE often switch aircraft at the last minute where people anticipate the new seats an all of a sudden you get into a cabin with the outdated product? Has anyone had stories of such swap with them?

When the retrofitting began with CX in 2007 with their new products, there has numerous reports of last minute a/c swap into the old configuration, infuriating people dying to try the new seats. I don't fly KE often so I don't know how often things like these happen with them.

Also looking at their fleet configurations for the 777-200, there are three of them:
1) Kosmo Sleeper (261 seats)
2) (301 seats)
3) Kosmo Suites (248 seats)

For config 1 & 3, it states Prestige Sleeper Seat(Prestige) while config 2 states prestige. So my question is which of these config has those "Prestige Plus" seating?

Each of those 3 config shows 28 seats in the prestige cabin with the same numerical numbers and alphabet letters. I've done dummy bookings for first class on expedia to see the number of seats to match those configurations. If expedia displays only 8 F seats in the 772 cabin, is it safe to conclude that aircraft is configured with the Prestige Plus or Prestige Sleeper seats?

KE does not do last minute swapping, but one-week prior noticed swapping happens quite frequently.

Out of 3 772 seatmaps, only 3) has prestige sleeper. 1) is prestige plus, and 2) is just prestige. The website needs to be fixed. To compare with expedia, you'd better check economy seating (row number of the last row; 3-3-3 or 2-5-2) to make sure. But yes, 8F can be an indicator of either 1) or 3) config.
