Hi everyone, I am new here so hope I have posted in the right place.
We are flying from england to Italy in a few weeks and have realised that one of my kids turns 16 before we fly, meaning that he will be an 'adult ' as far as Ryanair are concerned , the thing is it didn't occur to me at the time of booking and I booked him in as a child. Do you think they will try to make me pay a large amount of money to change him to adult status? Thanks in advance.

Ryanair dont do child fares, as soon as they are over 2 then the full fare is charged, they only have the under 16 thing in case you are booking hotels or car hire

Yes I know , but do do you think I should inform them or doesn't it matter.

They've got the full fare so it shouldn't matter. You'll have to print out a boarding pass at home which will show the passport details including date of birth. As long as they match..

However this is Ryanair, so I suggest you call them to check. Don't use the published rip-off phone number but one of the alternatives published on SayNoTo 0870 (http://www.saynoto0870.com)
