National - Emerald Club - Through 2037?

Finally heading back to California for several events and will be arriving on the 2nd of October and heading back on the 12th. I am wondering if I can get pointed in the right direction on how I can get the best bang for my buck. I have only rented once through a car rental company and it was through National and had a pleasant experience with them. According to there website I am..

Expiration Date: 31-DEC-2037

How I got that is beyond me but I haven't used them in three years. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You (I haven't even booked the airline tickets yet.)

I think it shows that date because there's no qualification requirements for the base tier of Emerald Club. With Executive, where you need 12 paid rentals in a calendar year, it'll show your status and an expiry of February 28, 2010, which is the date they re-tier members based on the previous year's rentals. Since there's no need to re-tier members that only qualify at the basic level, they set the expiry at some generic future date. Well thank you for answering that question. I am wondering if National has a great deal on a week long rentals and if National is one of the cheapest car rental companies out there.
