want to take avantage of this double status mile offer: swiss fare ex lhr seem to be very good: is there any reason why:

wouldnt work? is there any issue about getting off the inbound swiss plane into fra and getting back onto the same plane time wise?

Don't forget that you can usually add ZRH-GVA in the middle for routing LHR-ZRH-GVA-xxx

FRA is for 306 GBP

your FRA turnover should work out. However, note that LX usually gets a bus gate at FRA. You'll need to walk quite a bit from the lower level bus arrival back to the gate. Doable though ;)

sounds like a great idea; my home airport is dub; so i'm thinking about flying over the night before so i can get an early start

when i look at the swiss website it doesnt seem to give me the option to do the LHR-ZRH-GVA-fra route; it seems to only give me lhr-zrh-fra or lhr gva zrh; how do i do this? (sorry for what may be a rather basic question but i havent done a mr before) i would need to try and get there and back in a day and if possible get the 9pm bmi flight back to dub

You just need to ignore swiss.com and book through elsewhere. You can even use your travel agent.

just back from my first mr...and all i can say is Swiss give great8 ..Service. 4 j class flights in a day and on each flight i was greeted with a smile; what i felt was genuine warmth and overall really good service for what were quite short flights....usually fly LH not LX role on those new c class flat beds and u have me
