So there will be five E190's in October. Routes will be:

1X MKE-MCO
1X MCI-PHX
2X MKE-LGA

There will be a different colored interior on one of the new jets. It wasn't what we ordered but the cost of the return would have been to great to operation. It will be replaced when more come online.

Is that the total utilization for 5 E190s? Seems a little light if one E190 is doing only one RT MCI-PHX per day.

That is in addition to the routes it already does and the additional round trip MKE-LAX.

Thanks, cwe84. I've been watching for E190 (w/ signature seating) to be put on the MCI-LGA, BOS, or DCA route, but doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon. A couple of years ago, I was visiting relatives in MKE (who travel frequently) and they were complaining that MCI had all the 717s (with signature seating) vs. almost all saver seating out of MKE. Over the last year or so, that has switched.

Both types of E190's have been on the MKE-BOS route...The E190 with the 2x1 signature seating was probably a one time thing on a Monday morning...But the E190 with the 2x2 extra legroom seating has been on the Boston route (2 flights per day, I think) for the last couple of weeks, not exactly sure how long it will last, because I have noticed the 717 is coming back to the Boston route in October, but in the afternoon mix to/from Boston, not the morning like it used to be....Seems MKE-BOS has been getting all sorts of different equipment the last month or so...Not sure what their plan is for the E190 through MCI

I expect you'll be seeing less and less of this as the 717s disappear.

As for MCI, I believe the E190 does MKE-MCI-LAX-MCI-MKE daily. I'm not sure what other routes will see E190s. When the Airbus jets start arriving, there will be a signifant amount of re-shuffling of the fleet.

Details of new additions/route adjustments should start coming to light sometime next week.

My flight from LAX-MKE on 10/12 (redeye) is the E190. Is that where the 5th one is going?
