I noticed that Virgin are selling LHR-NRT flights that are actually ANA flights. Same ANA flights are £500 less if bought through Virgin! I've never flown ANA before so I was wondering if this is normal?

Also, if I buy an ANA flight through Virgin, is there any possibility of upgrading with UA miles? Seems like a long shot but you never know...

To upgrade your NH flight with UA miles, it has to be in YBCDJZE booking classes. Also, it has to be booked with the NH flight number, not the VS codeshare.

It is normal when 2 airlines has "free-sale" codeshare agreement. Which means, VS can sell unlimited seats on flights by NH but VS decides the pricing.

I am booking a flight on ANA through Virgin - USA to LHR. Availability on the ANA site shows "Business Class" is this Virgin Upper Class? I just want to be sure it is not Virgin Premier Economy.

Thanks!
