Feedback on Hilton Hotel Belfast Ireland
I paid £100 GBP per night for B&B 5* hotel accomodation at Hilton Hotel Belfast
1. I had to pay an additonal GBP£35 pp for breakfast without prior knowledge even though the trip was advertised as B&B
2. After numerous room changes I realised all the rooms had broken fixtures and fittings and present a hazard to health and safety
3. None of the advertised 5* facilities exist. Its false advertising but Hilton Group believe its acceptable as the facilities are available elsewhere in the city outside the hotel
4. My room was not made up for the 3 days of my stay, my papers were not delivered and my breakfast did not arrive for the duration of my stay. The hotel issued a statement stating
"-guests should 'allow' that 'someone' other than the room occupants would place a 'do not disturb sign' on the room door both nights of a two night stay and therefore guests should allow that rooms would not be made up for the entire duration of accommodation stay.
- guests should also 'allow' that on all days of a 3 day accommodation 'someone' other than the room occupants would remove newspapers from outside the room. "
5. At GBP£100 per night we were placed in a suite room with a door adjoining a bachelorette party with numerous guests partying through the night.
Recommend the Ramada and Radisson hotels as this hotel is a very negative and frustrating experience. Belfast as a city has come on a long way, the people are pleasant, there is plenty to see and do - well worth a visit!
