Last time I was through Concourse C was July, and the signs said Opening August 2009.

The MKE airport website has never had a good listing of the food & beverage concessions available on each concourse, so I trust newsmanhoss & the other FL warriors on here

Walked right past it a couple hours ago. Open for business and busy with hungry folks!

It's no Bartolotta's, but better than the abomination which is Concourse E.

Thanks, all!

Have you tried Nonna Bartolotta's on D? It was reallty quite good the last time I was there. Besides sit-down service, carry-outs are available.

TSA will let you pass thru security, as long as you have a valid boarding pass for a flight (flight does not have to be at a gate on D).

Nonna Bartolotta's served me the best airport panini I've ever eaten (quite possibly the best panini I've ever eaten). Unfortunately since I stopped flying Midwest, none of my flights are on the D concourse, and I prefer not to arrive at the airport early enough to clear security twice.

Starting next week I will be flying out of the

abomination which is Concourse E.

I haven't been through E in several months - are there any improvements in progress or scheduled?

That's what I meant...I think Nonna's is the best F&B available at MKE, next to the new Alterra stands. Even though MKE TSA is usually decent, I still don't think it's worth twice the TSA hassle. (I wish MKE would construct some sort of airside connector. Nothing fancy...just a hallway hugging the building just past security. Doubt it will ever happen, but, still...)

Chili's is everywhere, but it's miles better than the lame offerings on E. I haven't been through E since March...I'm not aware of any changes upcoming. I'll have a trip on NW in a couple weeks...I'll report back.
